The Noticeboard was the first idea and the rest of the website followed afterwards. It came about following a parish council meeting as I attempted to answer the necessitous question like…

“What can be done to reduce the number of vehicles parked on the High Street?"

In an attempt to encourage people to walk or cycle to the shops or school, this Noticeboard is for anybody to send in their contributions, no matter how small.

For example, if your children walked to school this morning instead of being dropped off then they can send this. Not everybody can walk in to school, but if parents are able to walk up to the shops when they would normally drive then this can be added too. Maybe you have achieved a target number of steps in a day, or taken the dog out for a longer than usual walk? Or perhaps you went for a recent cycle ride with the family?
