Haddenham Walks
There have been several good books written about Haddenham through the ages.
The photos in the books show a thriving community with plenty of shops and pubs, most of which are now closed. They also show the old houses throughout the village. The majority of residents over the years have worked in the surrounding fields.
A group of local residents have put together a series of historical walks through the village. The printed copies are available at the library and the Social Hub at the village social club. Each leaflet provides a circular route with photos and commentary describing the various houses and other buildings.
The walks are incredibly informative and there will always be something to learn, often about buildings and places that we walk past every day.
